The world premiere of a new family musical tops the bill of the Pump House’s autumn/winter programme and makes for a great festive Christmas treat.

Toys is an enchanting new musical for all the family from the visionary mind of musical maestro Phil Edwards (Miss Saigon, Starlight Express, Saturday Night Fever), and lyricist Ben Dermer. It’s a story of courage, friendship, and the extraordinary power of imagination. On one magical Christmas Eve, Victoria, a lonely young girl, discovers Ludus: a world beyond her wildest dreams – a world inhabited by living toys. It’s on for a limited five week run in December.

Other highlights of our autumn/winter programme include two more gigs of our popular Watford Comedy Night, two shows from the Jazz Junction, and fantastic theatre with one of the first amateur productions of The 39 Steps and an adaptation of the thriller novel The Girl on the Train.

We’ve also got a couple of events for Black History Month and you can always drop in to our weekly Open Mic Nights on Tuesdays, Pump House Jazz Club on Thursdays and Watford Folk Club on Fridays.

Plus don’t forget to grab a gang of friends, put your glad rags on and join us for our special Raise the Roof Gala Fundraising Party with auction, casino, buffet and live entertainment. Time is running out to book your tickets so don’t delay.

It’s a packed programme so make sure to book your tickets early to avoid disappointment. We hope to see you at a show or two.
