We usually practise at the Pump House on a Monday evening, so we are ready to dance out in lots of lovely places over the summer months – including Oxford, Rochester, Sheringham and Swanage. It’s never too late to try out this wonderful dance tradition, so come on down and join our group of dancers and musicians. All welcome – a good sense of rhythm and an enjoyment of music and dance ids all you need and we’ll teach you the rest!

Pump House Clog Morris performs a style of English traditional dance called North West Morris.
In the winter months we meet in Watford to perfect old and learn new dances. In the summer we dance out at various folk festivals and local events; our favourites include Rochester and Swanage. These outings are usually accompanied by social activities, such as eating, drinking, good company and more dancing! In addition, we perform at care homes and other venues.
Many of our Morris dances are easy to learn and now both women and men are welcome to come and have a go, whether experienced or not
Musicians are most welcome to come and play some lively music.
