Pump House Painters
A friendly and relaxed art session Tuesday’s 10am – 2pm for all levels from doodles to masterpieces! Only pay £5 for the sessions you attend. Tea/coffee and biscuits included. No tuition, we help each other if needed. Bring your own materials. Drop in for a visit or call Heulwen Jones 01923 464708
Dance
Pump House Clog Morris
The group performs a style of English traditional dance called North West Morris. They rehearse in the winter and in the summer perform at various folk festivals and local events. Meeting most Mondays 7:45pm-9:45pm Find out more

There’s been a thriving jazz scene here for over 45 years, attracting the top jazz bands on the circuit. Usually, every Thursday 8pm -10.30pm. Find out more

There’s been a Folk Club at The Pump House since 1973 with a reputation for the quality and the quantity of its floor singers/players and for headlining new and established Folk performers. Usually on every Friday, 7:45pm-11pm. Find out more
Watford Open Mic
Watford Open Mic, run by musicians for musicians, has been going 12 years’ strong. Usually every Tuesday night from 8-11pm, 15 min slots, £3 entry. All ages and styles welcome. Find out more

Belmont Theatre Company

Pump House Children & Youth Theatre
A volunteer run, open access youth drama group that’s been going for over 40 years. Provides young people of all backgrounds, aged 8-25, the opportunity to perform on stage. Do everything from mimes and improvisation to large scale musicals. Find out more
Pump House Theatre Company
Formed in the early 1970s with the sole intention of providing top class amateur theatre for the local community. It stages four to five productions a year with the aim of presenting its audiences with as diverse and entertaining a programme as possible. Find out more

The Actors Cafe
The Actor’s Cafe provides expert, concise acting tuition from experienced teachers who are also industry professionals.
