Pump House CYT
Winner of four Olivier Awards including Best New Musical in London and the Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical on Broadway, the smash hit show, Come From Away chronicles the real-life experiences of the people of Gander, Newfoundland, and the almost 7000 airline passengers who were forced to land there when US air space was closed on September 11, 2001.
As fear and uncertainty gripped the world, the people of Gander opened their hearts, forging unexpected friendships and proving that even in the darkest times, compassion can shine through. With a soaring score and unforgettable storytelling, this heart-warming musical is a deeply moving and unexpectedly joyful celebration of human connection, resilience, and the extraordinary power of generosity.
