The Jungle Book Kids – The “man cub” Mowgli, bounds through the jungle and learns what it means to be human in Disney’s The Jungle Book KIDS. Twice NODA Youngstars award-nominated Rickmansworth Players Youth and Junior Theatre group are delighted to be presenting Lionel Bart’s Oliver. Based on the Charles Dickens novel Oliver Twist, about an orphan boy who asks for ‘more’. After running away from the orphanage and then an undertakers, to which he’s been sold, Oliver ends up in London. He’s befriended by the Artful Dodger and taken to be part of Fagin’s gang, leading him into all sorts of trouble.
Oliver ! is ‘Pick a Pocket’ full of fantastic numbers, including; Consider Yourself; Food, Glorious Food and As Long as He Needs Me.
