The workshop for children and families, will explore how ancient circle dances from around the globe, offer connection to our planet, and inspire creative ideas. Guided by Kate Flatt, the activities – whatever age we are – will offer through dance, a positive sense of connection between us and how we can work to sustain and value our Earth.
Kate is a choreographer and experienced workshop leader working both in UK and internationally. Her ‘Ballroom of Joys and Sorrows’ was a dance theatre work, that drew on rituals and celebration of community, created in Watford for 55 local participants of all ages. Kate will be accompanied by Tim van Eyken the original song man in Warhorse. Come and enjoy this creative and engaging experience, with your family and friends!!

Vedi Roy will create stereotypical Bollywood scenarios and help you understand what it takes to create a Bollywood scene; there’ll be drama, romance, action, sadness and melodrama ! Then you create your own scene and the session ends with a fabulous Bollywood dance finale.

Built in 1854 the building was used as a Victorian Pumping Station, the second part of the tale will include; the secret tour; historical photos and information. The Pump House is truly a hidden gem.

CLASS DESCRIPTION: A dynamic Vinyasa class focusing on breath awareness. Classes will involve Surya Namaskar, standing postures, forward bending, backward bending, inversions, meditation and relaxation. Expect chanting, hands on assists and great music. All levels welcome but knowledge of sun salutation is recommended.
