Over the years Jackie Free has had the pleasure of having great musicians in his band with the likes of Digby Fairweather, Mike Cotton, John Patey, Dave Shepherd and Pete Rudeforth. A high spot for Jackie occurred in 1956 when the most famous jazz musician of all-time, Louis Armstrong, made a visit to London. “I think we were probably the first British band to play with Louis after World War Two,” says Jackie, “playing with him was the greatest moment of my career!”. We welcome his latest line-up to the Pump House which will be sure not to disappoint.

Line-up: Jackie Free Trombone, Enrico Thomasso Trumpet, Julian Stringle Clarinet, Tim Huskisson Piano, Murray Salmon Double Bass, Alan Clark Drums
